Giles's love for subverting design tropes, drew him to explore new iterations of this Sanderson archive original. The archive itself houses a fine collection of mid-late nineteenth century Trompe-l'oeil wallpaper patterns, depicting curtains, bows, ribbons and tassels and here, Wilsford is cloaked in illusion. With a clever use of refined screens, from a distance, Wilsford has the appearance of beautifully draping fabric.
